Primordial Sin & Noble's Affliction

Why do bad things happen to good people? Why are we doomed for the sin of our first parents?

These questions are considered as one of the most difficult questions in all of theology. Rooting on the Christian doctrines, one can understand the answer of these questions. Apostle Paul has already given the answer in Romans 11: 32-36 as “For God has consigned everyone to disobedience so that He may have mercy on everyone. O, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and untraceable His ways!“Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor? “Who has first given to God, that God should repay him?” For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen”

Let us start with the second question, “why are we doomed for the sin of our first parents?” As we study the Holy Scriptures, we can see that God confirmed all His creations were good and the same was repeatedly affirmed as “good”. But, then came Satan to humans with his deceiving offer “you will become like God” (remember, they were already made in the likeness of God!!) and will have the power of the knowledge of Good and Evil (Power of judgment).

Humans easily fell in the trap of the deceiver and trusted him more than their God who created them in His likeness. Unknowingly, they started to judge the good and started feeling something wrong within them, started feeling inferior in the presence of God. On God’s call, the reply from the man was that he is naked!! In another word, man started to find absence and deficiency where God certified as “Very Good” and he started pointing to others for his own mistakes!!

James 4:12 “There is only ONE Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you–who are you to judge your neighbor?”

Ecclesiastes 12:14 “For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil”

Only God has the power of judging. But, it is human nature to pretend to know everything and judge others. God created everything good and beautiful and man finds deficiency in God’s creation. This was the initial sin at the garden of Eden and still we are continuing to do it!! It is not just our first parents who did the sin, we continue to do the same. God created each one of us in His own image and in completeness. We trust the deceiver more than our Creator and find evil in God’s creation and many times we tend to discover  deficiency  within us!! We love to judge others and point towards them!! For sure, at Garden of Eden it has just STARTED, but, more than the first parents sin, we are doomed for what we are doing in our daily life!! Romans 5:12 “Sin came into the world through one man, and his sin brought death with it. As a result, death has spread to the whole human race because everyone has sinned.”

God gave hope to the world through Jesus Christ and those who are in Christ, will be having the redemption from the bondage of sin and from eternal death. In Romans 8:28 “And we know that in ALL THINGS God works for the GOOD of those WHO LOVE him, who have been CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE”.

Now, you have the answer to the first question too… “and we know that in ALL things God works for the GOOD of those who love him”. There nothing bad happens to “Good people”. “And we know that in ALL THINGS God works for the GOOD of those WHO LOVE Him, who have been CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE”.  And remember, we are no one to judge “Good” and “Bad”… It is under God’s supremacy to Judge… let us stand with Apostle Paul and say ”O, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and untraceable His ways!“Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor?”

ALL THINGS God works for the GOOD of those WHO LOVE Him, who have been CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE !

We are doomed for what we are doing in our daily life!!
