Holy Life

In the Old Testament, God gave the ten commandments and precepts for his people to live with holiness and godliness. Because that was not enough, Jesus Christ and later his disciples taught precepts, doctrines and rituals worthy of entering the kingdom of God. Jesus said, “Sanctify them through the truth, for your word is truth” (John 17:17). In other words, what helps a person to enter the kingdom of God is to keep the words of Jesus Christ. “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him. We will come to him and make our abode with him” (John 14:23). One should check whether what one is teaching and practicing is correct by checking the Sathyaveda book. Nothing is more ancient or superior than the Holy Word. No tradition other than this will save anyone. Only if one learns and imitates the word of truth is one worthy of the name of saint. The saint will keep it. Truth and purity are related to each other

The apostle Paul told Timothy, “Take heed to thyself and to the doctrine, and stand firm in this, that thou mayest save thyself and them that hear thy speech” (1 Tim 4:16). He said that he will be saved here, and is about the final salvation that is to be saved from this material life to enter the kingdom of God. But he testified that he gave his heart to the Lord, not that he was saved by being baptized in water. Whether a believer or a church leader, he should live purified by the word itself. Those who follow the precepts taught by the Lord and his disciples will get final salvation. Paul said to the Ephesians, “He gave her to Himself to cleanse and sanctify her by the baptism of water with the word of Jesus, and to present the church to Himself, pure and unblemished, without spot or wrinkle, in glory to Himself (Eph 5:26,27). By the word he daily tested and cleansed himself, and died. It should be sanctified forever. Remember that the world will hate you if you don’t conform to this world. Jesus said, “I am not of the world, so the world hates them because they are not of the world” (John 17:14).

No matter how holy we think we are, we cannot reach God’s holiness. Because this world spreads filth, it is said in the book of Revelation, “Let the unjust do injustice, and the righteous do justice, and the holy man sanctify himself; behold, I come quickly” (Revelation 22:11,12). This does not mean that injustice and filth will continue. Those who are unrighteous and dirty, no matter how good or bad they are, should be left alone. We should not turn to them. He that is just and holy shall increase in it. Don’t allow amendment to doctrine and purity on the pretense that there will be an increase if only a little irregularity and doctrinal error is allowed. The Lord will not accept it.

Joshua’s dirty clothes were a good reason for Satan to accuse him (Zechariah 3:3). Dirty clothing or impure living is an obstacle to spiritual ministry and entering the kingdom of God. Ministers and believers alike must be holy in life and doctrine. Satan prowls to defile and then to accuse. “Your adversary the devil prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same kind of suffering is coming to your brothers and sisters in the world (1 Peter 5:8,9). We have a Jesus who sanctifies us and defeats Satan.

When we lose focus on Jesus Christ, bad things happen. We read that Paul reminds the Corinthians of this. “I am betrothed to give you as a virgin to the only man, Christ. But I fear lest your mind be corrupted from the concentration and purity of Christ, as the serpent beguiled Eve. When someone comes and preaches another Jesus that we did not preach, or you receive another spirit that you did not receive, at least another gospel that you did not receive” (2 Cor 11:2-4). The essence of this: Jesus Christ and the apostles taught that despite the fact that it is in the Holy Word, we should not receive the errors that those who do not want to live in complete separation. .

Instead of the voice that comes from being baptized and worshiping in tongues, the artificial noises of the spiritless and behavior that does not fit the character of Christ is another way of Jesus. Like other nations, the style of life with costumes and decorations is not the way of Jesus of Nazareth, but of another Jesus. True awakening is not man-made. It is given by the Holy Spirit. This is only possible if we remain in the doctrine. “Be careful not to lose the fruit of our efforts and receive the full reward. There is no God who passes the boundary without remaining in the doctrine of Christ. He who abides in the doctrine is the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you except with this doctrine, do not receive him at home, and do not speak against him.” (2 John 8,9,10). This is not to say that you should hate those who teach error, but that you should not take part in this matter. Awakening programs are increasing in these end times.

We must be dead to sin. “In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore, let sin no longer reign in your mortal bodies and obey its lusts, and do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness. Present yourselves to God as dead and alive, and your members as instruments of righteousness. For you are not subject to the law, but to grace. But what? Shall we sin because we are subject to grace and not to the law? Never. Do you not know that you are servants to Him whom you submit yourselves to obey, and you obey? Either slaves of sin unto death, or servants of righteous obedience. Obedience and freedom from sin, servants of righteousness Thank God it is over. I say humanly because of the weakness of your flesh. As you have submitted your members as slaves to impurity and unrighteousness for iniquity, now submit your members for sanctification to righteousness. (Romans 6:11-19)

Those who lead exemplary lives of complete separation and holiness will face adversity, but we should be able to say with Paul the Apostle that “If we consider the glory that is to be revealed in us, the troubles of this time are nothing.” (Romans 8:18). Those who do not live in complete separation and holiness will be “drooling out of their mouths” as the angel tells the Laodicean church in the Book of Revelation.

God’s servants are young in a spiritual sense. They should have qualities like good enthusiasm, purity of life, blameless conscience, lack of greed. Don’t let any of these issues get overlooked. Paul exhorts Timothy to “Let no one despise your youth. Be an example to the believers in word, deed, love, faith, and purity” (1 Tim 4:12). In this way you will finally attain salvation and do not have a backsliding nature. Jesus said, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back will inherit the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62).

At the end times, reformation in the spiritual world will be disguised as godliness and renounce its power (2 Timothy 3:5). In the name of awakening, there are people who are conducting various programs contrary to the Word. We can live a holy life and wait for the coming of the Lord as faithful servants, without going after the extreme manifestations of the doctrine taught by the apostles of Jesus Christ.
